Happy new year!
I hope you had a relaxing holiday and are ready for a happy and fulfilling 2020…?
If you live in the UK, you probably heard about the flooding that occurred over the last couple of weeks.
Perhaps you were even effected by it?
Well, the river I live next to rose by around 20 ft and I acquired a natural indoor swimming pool! At it’s peak it reached 33 inches (almost 1 Meter!) under water…
Of course the majority of our stock is in our distribution warehouse, but unfortunately there was a small amount of PUMP Zeus left in the area that was flooded.
Thankfully, the vast majority of the V3 just had water damage to the bottom part of the outer packaging, and the headphones themselves were completely dry.
So, do you want some super cheap Zeus?!
Good, because we’ve decided to turn a negative in to a positive!
Next week, we’ll do a new year ‘flash sale’ to Friends of PUMP to release these “water damaged Zeus” in to the World with a massive discount :-)
If you want to pre-reserve a set, just drop us an email and we’ll put one by for you.
The production of the PUMP Titan Bluetooth Speaker is now finished and we’re just waiting on the final quality checks to be completed and air shipment to be made!
Here’s one of the pallets awaiting final final random inspection at the factory…
As soon as they are safely delivered to their new Owners, we’ll be getting cracking with this…
I’ve kept pretty quiet about this, but we’ve been working really hard on the new PUMP Audio “True Wireless” Earbuds!
I’m extremely happy with the sound we’ve managed to get from the latest prototype, and we’re pretty much ready to do the pre-order deal.
We’ve moved to a new factory for the new buds so it’s been a challenge, but we’re now there.
As soon as TITAN are safely delivered to everyone who ordered, we’ll get cracking with the launch deal!
It’s been over a year since we’ve been toying with the idea of opening up again to allow Users to invest in the company.
We even built the Seedrs campaign and released a 12 page memo to current Investors.
Here’s the video we made:
But something held me back from pulling the trigger…
As you know, we don’t procrastinate on much, but we (I really) have really procrastinated on this…
I think the reason is that I want to be SURE it’s the right thing to do for Investors, and for PUMP.
Of course, as the founder, I’m quite attached to my shareholding! I think that’s understandable considering that I’ve basically given Five years of my life to PUMP?
But I think the main reason we’ve hesitated is that we don’t want to be one of those startups that’s addicted to raising money!
I see so many young businesses that are reliant on funding round after funding round, and I don’t want PUMP to be one of them.
That said, we’ve got a very solid strategy now, which looks totally different to how it did for our 2nd raise. Essentially now, we are playing to our strengths rather than our weaknesses.
So we might open up for Investment in 2020.
I’m not promising anything though!
I’d just like to THANK all of our Users, Investors and brand ambassadors sincerely for the support you’ve shown PUMP so far.
I hope that 2020 brings you everything you desire in your life…
P.S. Fancy writing for PUMP?
We’re looking for some talented writers who are passionate about music to produce some articles for us. If you’re interested, drop us an email :-)
