On 21st April 2016 we conducted a blindfold test at Westwood Cross shopping centre in the UK.

The objective was to find out which headphones people preferred the sound of; PUMP Zeus or BOSE Quiet Comfort 15.

Consumers were asked to put on a blindfold and listen to 2 sets of headphones, and then choose which ones they preferred the sound of.

People taking the test were told that the volume could be adjusted up or down as they wished.

15 people took the test.

These were the results:

– 2 said they preferred BOSE Quiet Comfort 15

– 13 said that they preferred PUMP Zeus

On 6th August 2016 we conducted the same test at Ultimate Street Car, Santa Pod Raceway, UK.

12 further people took the test, this time they were asked which headphones people preferred the sound of; PUMP Zeus or BOSE Quiet Comfort 25.

These were the results:

– 1 said they preferred BOSE Quiet Comfort 25

– 11 said that they preferred PUMP Zeus

In total 27 people took the blindfold test. 2 said they preferred BOSE Quiet Comfort 15, 1 said they preferred BOSE Quiet Comfort 25 while 24 said that they preferred PUMP Zeus.

We conclude that in these tests, 89% of people preferred the sound of PUMP Zeus to BOSE Quiet Comfort 15 & 25.
